💡 Acne Treatment Guide
BHA (Salicylic Acid) is your first line of defense. It's oil-soluble, so it penetrates pores to dissolve sebum and dead skin. Start with 2%, 2-3x/week.
Azelaic Acid targets red marks and inflammation. It's antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and fades PIE (red acne marks). Great for rosacea-prone skin.
Hydrocolloid patches work on surface pimples. They draw out fluid overnight. Don't use on deep cysts — they won't penetrate.
Don't over-exfoliate. More BHA ≠ faster results. Damaging your barrier makes acne worse. Cap active treatments at 3-4x/week.
